The accommodation had some nice touches, with lots of little extras in the kitchen equipment. The location was also very good, being close to popular places like Windermere and Ambleside. Additionally, there were some nice shops in the town area, which made it a pleasant place to visit.
There were several maintenance issues, including a loose tap fitting and a dripping tap in the kitchen. Some areas of the hotel also needed finishing off.

As a base for our exploration of the South Lakes, 4 Laurel Court was ideal. The well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms were a plus, as was the prompt and helpful communication with the owner. The powerful and hot shower ensured a refreshing start to the day, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The additional touches such as towels, toiletries, and even a travel cot for our daughter made our stay even more convenient. it was the perfect place for our first family trip.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at this lovely, clean, and well-presented small house. the bed was comfy and the shower was wonderful. the kitchen was fully-equipped and came with all the basics we needed. the instructions provided were clear and thorough. We also appreciated the extra touches like towels, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar. the house had plenty of space and there were leaflets available to help plan our days out. It was perfect for our first trip away as a young couple.
We felt really looked after during our stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

I had a wonderful time staying at 4 Laurel Court. The cottage was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it a perfect choice for a family getaway. The location was great, with easy access to local amenities and a lovely walk nearby. The comfortable beds and homely atmosphere made for a pleasant stay.
One specific situation I encountered was the faulty shower head in the en-suite bathroom. However, apart from that, the facilities were great, and the kitchen was well set out with plenty of toilets available.

the apartment was clean and the bed in the main bedroom was huge and comfortable. The location was also ideal as a base for exploring the South Lakes, and it was only a short walk to the town center. Despite the minor issues with the heated water supply, the owner was quick to resolve the problem and ensure our comfort.
There were a few things that I disliked about my experience. the rooms were quite hot, and there didn't seem to be a way to adjust the temperature.

My stay at 4 Laurel Court was great! The house was very clean and tidy, and I loved the spaciousness of the 2-bedroom layout. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances, and the bathrooms were spacious with lovely baths and showers. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having tea and coffee provided. It was also convenient to have a highchair available for my child.
While the beds were clean, they didn't feel that comfortable to me as I prefer a harder mattress for my back. Additionally, I felt that the windows could use more security measures for peace of mind.
